The original T5 fat burner has been around for a number of years. It is marketed for anybody wanting to get rid of excess body fat. The product is designed to achieve individual fat loss goals by using a number of different thermogenic fat burner ingredients.

The most recent reviews on Amazon don’t seem very favourable. Customers either reported no results or some even reported feeling dizzy after taking it.
Looking at other platforms of customer feedback, T5 fat burner doesn’t seem to be trending on social media or on Youtube.
There are some customer reviews on the company’s website with photos. However, there are no before and after shots, so not sure what shape these customers were in before taking the product.
Dosage – How to take T5 fat burner
The daily dosage of T5 fat burner seems easy to stick to with only 1 capsule per day. As per the company’s suggestion, this should be taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
Although the dosage is easy to stick to, 1 capsule per day doesn’t provide a steady supply of fat burning ingredients throughout the day. I’d recommend choosing products with at least 3 or 4 equal doses per day.
On the company’s website you don’t seem to be able to buy any less than 2 bottles, containing 60 capsules. The 2 bottles will cost you around £30. The price per bottle is lower priced than other competitor products and it also includes free next day delivery.

The product is available to buy on the company’s website as well as on Amazon and other supplement retailer websites. The cost of shipment and the terms of returning the product may differ depending on where you buy the product from.
I’ve reviewed the ingredients contained in this T5 fat burner. There are 2 main ingredients, both of which are thermogenics and 4 supporting ingredients with only small doses in the formula.
The two main ingredients are bitter orange (300 mg per serving) and caffeine (110 mg per serving). Both thermogenics help to increase the body’s metabolism to burn more fat.
Bitter orange is a controversial fat burner ingredient. Although there is research evidence which suggests that it is an effective thermogenic, there are also potential side effects associated with its use1.
Caffeine on the other hand is a lot less controversial. It is a popular thermogenic ingredient of many fat burner supplements. It’s effectiveness in achieving weight loss in a safe way has been proven by a number of studies2.
Although it is an effective ingredient, the amount of caffeine per serving is moderate. Therefore, it may not achieve the desired effect. I’d recommend products that contain at least 200 mg of caffeine per daily serving in order for them to be effective.
The 4 supporting ingredients are Phenylethylamine (50 mg per serving), Guarana (20 mg per serving), Green Tea (20 mg per serving) and N-Acetyl-L-carnitine (10 mg per serving).
Out of these ingredients it is only really green tea that is a clearly proven, natural and safe fat burner ingredient3. However, the amount contained in the formula is too low to make an impact.
One of the other supporting ingredients, guarana is a stimulant which contains about four times the amount of caffeine than in coffee beans. This might sound great. However, studies investigating the effectiveness of guarana as a fat burner have either been small scale or have not found conclusive results and are only few and far between4. Also, there isn’t much research out there that looks at potential long-term side effects.
N-Acetyl-L-carnitine has also been linked to weight loss by increasing the amount of fat that can be turned into energy rather than using the carbohydrate stores. Although some studies found promising evidence showing L-carnitine as an effective fat burner agent5, the amount found in this formula is again too low to achieve the desired effect.

Potential side effects of T5 fat burner
After ephedra was banned in by the FDA due to the health risk it poses, many weight loss products swapped it for bitter orange. Although there are some research studies that found that bitter orange helped increase metabolic rate, there are concerns about how safe this ingredient is.
Bitter orange contains compounds that have similar effect to that of ephedra. It has been linked to raised blood pressure and elevated heart rate in people taking bitter orange. Also, the side effects may be enhanced when taken in conjunction with other stimulants, such as caffeine.
In addition to this, if you are allergic or intolerant to caffeine, this product may not be a good choice for you.
Final Verdict on T5 fat burner
After reviewing the various features of this product, I’ve arrived at a rating of 1.5 out of 5 possible stars.
Straight away, the product is let down by its bitter orange content. This is the main ingredient in the product. Although it may be an effective thermogenic ingredient, there are questions around its potential side effects. I’d recommend choosing products without this ingredient.
Although the product contains caffeine as one of the main ingredients, the dose is on the low side with only 110 mg per serving. Caffeine is a proven, natural and safe fat burner. However, if the dose is too low, the product may fail to achieve the required results.
T5 aims to achieve fat loss through thermogenesis and the formula doesn’t contain any appetite suppressant ingredients. I’d recommend products that contain both proven and safe appetite suppressants and thermogenics for the best results.
The ingredients are not hiding behind a proprietary blend. A positive of this fat burner, but the ingredients list is far from impressive.
The product may be lower priced than other competitor products, but you get what you pay for. I would recommend to spend a bit more and get a more effective and safe product that will help you achieve your weight loss goals.
